Whether we want it or not, each planet has its own gravitational pull and frequency, so does the Earth. Just as every cell and atom of our body is moving and influencing the whole, just as every person on the planet is moving, acting and influencing the whole, so do the planets around us - they move and influence us.
As these planets are wandering around in our solar system, its relative positions change and interchange, and during certain times, a planet might appear to be retrograde to us, so their gravitation is sometimes pulling us so to say "backwards".
In those times, it can seem as if we are pulled back into our past problems, making it difficult or impossible for us to move forward. But we are not moving backwards at all, we are just looking at our unresolved issues from the past through our current perspective of the present. This is important, as we weren't able to see clearly when we were in the middle of those issues.
There are also many other astrological changes occuring, small and big changes of cycles. Some say all three Earth, Solar System and our Universe are each in the process of entering new energy frequencies, which has never happened before to this extent. This might make us experience sensations that we have never had before and bring changes in our lives that we are not used to.
Whatever is coming up for you, whether you feel as if you are going through birthing pains, or through painful stories or repetitions from your past, there might be times where you feel overwhelmed and hopeless with your emotions, feeling a discomfort in your being that you are not able to describe, not knowing what to do, and not seeing through it all. So here's for you some helpful tips to survive these processes of clearing and changing that I have collected for you from my own experiences and a very uncomfortable one very recently (I survived and evolved!):
Keep in mind the bigger picture and purpose: I understand that clearing out my view of past debris is to my benefit, so I can move on with a clean slate. I don't want to carry the same mistakes with me that I used to make. I know that the process that is happening is to my benefit and is beneficial to the whole.
Remember that it is a process and it will pass: The process of change, just like birthing a new child, is necessary for the next greater version of yourself to come out. The discomfort that you might experience is like the tightness of the birthcanal, or the tightness of your shell that has become too small for your growth. Remember that you are growing. Be patient and keep reminding yourself that it will pass and that it is only temporary. Be brave.
Allow the process to happen: Don't try to change it, fix it, or kill it. Just observe it, allow things to come up, and let your new insights, understandings and changes slowly emerge in its own time, step by step. You can't see all at once, but you will see better every day. Remember that you are on the right path, and it will all come together. Stay strong.
Detach from the associated emotions: Don't focus on the negative feelings, the stuckness or the confusion. You know well now that they are there, but don't make them bigger by focusing your mind onto them. What you give your energy to, will expand.
Start focusing on neutral emotions: To get yourself out of the spiral, focus your mind on easy activities with neutral emotions and keep following your daily tasks, your job and your daily rhythm. Stabilising neutral activities can be things like washing up, doing groceries, watering the plants, brooming the floor, going for a walk, talking small talk to a friend, watching an unimportant movie...
Get for you what you need: Once you are more stable, start tuning into your needs, and what it is you can give to yourself to feel nurtured, eased and comforted. Whether it is chocolate, a bath, a long and slow yoga session, a sound meditation, calling your mum, receiving help from a friend or a counsellor, getting a massage, making yourself laugh with a comedy - start doing whatever makes you feel good. You are resourceful. Ask for help. We are in this together.
Focus on your heart and love: The warm feeling of love, forgiveness, acceptance, gratitude, kindness and compassion has the highest frequencies and healing capacities, and can help you go beyond your obstacles. Focus your mind on your heart, visualise a green heart, put your hands onto your heart, feel the heartbeat, feel the breath. Feel grateful how your heart supports you and beats for you, how incredible your breath works for you, think of kind things that people have done for you in the past, of beautiful magical moments you could experience, of past feelings of love and happiness. The will bring you back up into a higher frequency.
Spend time in nature: Get back to your roots and connect with yourself and Earth again. Release the emotions through your feet by walking barefoot on the soil in the grass, in the forest. Spend a day away from phones and technology and get in touch again with your real you, your higher self - this time with yourself in deep connection with nature will finally bring you your desired insights and answers. Your lessons and learnings will become clearer. Nature is always here to help you.
Transform your emotions: Use this phase and the emotions as fuel to transform them into new energy - do any kind of sports, write, play music, sing, dance, paint, draw, cook, use your hands to release and create... Whatever feels inspiring to you. Do whatever you are passionate about.
Integrate your transformations: Whatever has come up for you, you have gone through changes, and your tough times and emotions have also shown you the contrast of what you don't want and what's important to you. Whatever made you feel angry, now is the time to use that anger to fuel your passion and implement change for it, for all that matters to you. Start acting upon your new insights, change your lifestyle, start meditating, take a yoga class, change your eating habits, practice forgiveness with your collegues, be more accepting with your employees, set clearer boundaries with your partner, go to bed earlier, be kinder to yourself... whatever lessons you have learned - you have become stronger and wiser.
